If the switch is always in the horizontal position, the circuit may be in a critical state of uncertain on/off. In this state, if the switch moves back and forth or detects displacement or vibration in the environment, it will output a pulse signal, which can be adjusted for sensitivity or filtered for false triggering signals through software.
